Digital BW, The Print

Hi,

I've been looking for a service manual and adjustment program for my 1280.  I 
tried 2manuals.com, where I got them for my 1200, but a seach for Epson 
manuals comes up dry.

Can anyone point me to another source?

The adjustment program is available from the Russian site referenced on 
the MIS website, though I don't remember a service manual. Fair 
warning: there is no documentation with the program, and it looks like 
it has the potential to shred your printer if used wrong. Also, the 
website gives you no way to opt out of spam, and I have been receiving 
an endles stream of Russian spam ever since I got it. What the hell, 
the ruskies stole it from Epson, contact me off-list & I'll email it to 
you. One good turn deserves another.

PS: you need a Win 98 machine to run it, but you may be able to do it 
in XP's 'compatibilty mode'.
