I have printed in the darkroom for many years and now need to buy a good Epson printer 
that will print at least 11x14 at the highest possible quality.  I will use it for B/W only. The 
question is which would be best supported by B/W pigment carts. and not be "legacy" in a 
few months. I suspect the 1280 falls into this class.

2200 or upcoming 2400. Even the 2200 will have in and RIP support
for the forseable future, likely beyond the useful life of the printer.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
