Are the epson 4800 really out there

Are the epson 4800 really out there

I'm seeing a lot of messages on the Epson 4800, yet the retailers
don't seem to have anything past the 4000. Are these Beta testers
commenting, or am I looking at the wrong web sites.

Real users. Inkjet Goodies just sent out an email saying they have shipped
some and have a few left.

I got mine in the UK and for that had the privilege of paying 80% more than
you guys in the US....Should have justed shipped it from the US and paid the
VAT/import duty.

If you live near the West Coast try
<www.eximvaios.com>
They have about 15 or 20 of them in stock. That's
where I picked mine up.

I have seen the 4800 at Calumet and Samy's in LA.
Available, but I couldn't see how many in total.
Plenty of the 2400's at Calumet.

For those in NY that have to pay tax to B&W and Adoroma I ordered mine
from Epson and paid no tax and no shipping charges I live on Long
Island. The price at Epson for the 2400 was the same price I saw at all
the online stores. I have'nt had a chance to print with it yet, had a
trade show in city related to my real job of packaging equipment.
