As always, I am overwhelmed by your generosity in sharing your
expertise. I followed your directions to download curves for the 7600
UT7.I have windows XP. I wanted to save to Desktop (or anywhere that
would save it) and the "Save as Type" browser gives only 2 choices: AOL
HTML document or "All Files" The "All Files" won't save. I can't make
it choose *acv.

I use HPR most of the time, and occasionaly HG Etching. As soon as I
get low on stock, I look forward to trying Innova and other papers you
recommend. I've used your slider settings, but I really want those
curves! I've been torturing the same photograph for five days now, and
I know it will work if only....
                  Many thanks,
                       Arlene

Arlene,

You have to click in the box with the name of the curve and manually write
in the extension type -- acv.

I'll send the curves off list.

OT -- San Francisco, etc. B&W

2005-06-16 by Paul Roark

I'm off to SF, Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, etc. next week and wanted to
know if there are any special exhibits or events relative to B&W photography
that I ought to know about.

To avoid list clutter, off list might be the best way to respond.

Thanks.
