Do Ultrachome K3 inks offer richer blacks?

I guess the subject says it all. I have an Epson 2200, and I'm wondering if the newer 2400 (or 4800) will yield noticeably richer blacks or greater Dmax using Matt Black ink on papers like Enhanced Matt. Thanks, Robert Ades
