Has anyone had any experience with Light Jet prints on B&W paper?

Grateful for any info.

Thanks,

Hi,
I haven't had Light Jet prints, but I did have a trial Frontier print done that was far more neutral than I had expected. I'll be trying a Chromira print next.

As the Frontier was done on colour paper, it was a pleasant surprise.

I just had WCI make me a Chromira RGB test print (converted to RGB from
grayscale) on Fuji Crystal Archive Super C matte. Doug Broussard suggested
that the new Super C paper (not a b/w paper) printed incredibly grayscale,
with no metamerism or other ill effects. So I gave it a try. Pretty dang
good, and can be made even better with specific tonal adjustments for the
Chromira (perhaps even imbedded toning, since it's an RGB file).

Wow ... thanks a lot! I'm currently going through the financial struggle of getting myself set up and running as a semi-pro ... I've spent a lot getting an RB67 going, but still need to have more servicing done on it. I've improved since having a D70 as the faster workflow lets you learn faster.

As for BW printing, I think Daniel Staver http://daniel.staver.no has got BW Photoshop post-processing down to a truly fine art. He's a huge talent.
