Digital BW, The Print

Hi All,

I've been watching the list, and dug round the archives - but I'll ask
anyhow.

Here in the UK the Epson R200/R300 are dirt cheap, as are the C66 & C86. I
want to print pure black only/quad tone on gloss, maybe matt (have used
ilford gallerie gloss before). I currently have an HP, but that is of no
use.

I have seen quadblack kits for the R200 - but they're almost twice the cost
of the printer - so I have been looking at the C range. I have read a few
reviews on the web (Paul R's etc), but exactly how good is the C86/MIS setup
(obviously a few here swear by it, maybe for the cost)? Is this the right
avenue to go down - cash isn't exactly flowing too well (and I'd like a new
scanner soon, having moved into Medium Format).

The only major issue I have now is finding a UK supplier of the MIS ink
cartridges - does anyone know of any?
