the 4800 
because it involved only the black and the line was relatively short.>>
 
 
At about 1 ml of ink per 8x10, you waste enough ink for a dozen prints.

I think that is erroneous information. As far as I know the flushout
part only involves the black
line only(there are 3 placeholder carts for the other 3 cartridges on
the left side that need to 
be inserted for that step). But the recharge of the new black ink
involves all 4 cartridges on the left side
as the placeholder ones have to be switched back out for the real carts
before that step.
(there don't seem to be 4 separate pumps for the 4 lines, but only 1
pump per side or something like that)
