Epson Premium Semimatte Smaller Sizes

Epson Premium Semimatte Smaller Sizes

2005-07-02 by Bill Iverson

Anyone know a source for smaller sheets of Epson Premium Semimatte
paper? I can slice a 17x22 down to four 8.5x11, but it's a pain and
I have trouble getting precise cuts, even with a Rotatrim. Failing a
smaller-source size, what do people recommend for proofing smaller
prints for eventual printing on Epson Premium Semimatte?

Have you ever tried Epson semi-matte proofing? I don't know if it
comes in sheets though. I have found it to be a good inexpensive
testing paper for Premium Semimatte. Also, Exim Vaios does custom
cutting of all epson papers for a small fee if you can't print by the
roll. (eximvaios.com)

Lexjet has a premium semimatte paper which is very
good, and available in 8.5X11. I think it holds its
own with Epson Premium Semi Matte but at the very
least would make a great proofing paper saving the
expensive Epson for final prints.
