Coating for Kirkland Glossy

Coating for Kirkland Glossy

2005-07-07 by John Moody

I have been trying to coat Kirkland Glossy with PremierArt PrintShield. No
matter what I do, the coating takes on a thickness dependent on the density
of ink; it never levels out. Thin coats, thick, 0, 90, 45 angles, etc. don\ufffd
t make any difference. It is really obvious (bad) on a Zebra for example,
and I don\ufffdt like that 3-D appearance.

I tried SureGuard Lustre since I had a can lying around, and it levels
perfectly on the first coat. Has anyone tried SureGuard Gloss on Kirkland?
Does it level?
I would be interested in any coating that levels well on glossy paper.

John
