Has anyone had any experience using imatest for evaluating/comparing paper/ink/software tonal qualities? I searched the history and found only one inconclusive reference. This appears in theory to be an excellent comparative tool. It could be more consistent than a densitometer and much cheaper. You just need a decent scanner.
