New Phase in MF

New Phase in MF

2005-07-16 by claudej1@aol.com

According to _www.luminous-landscape_ (http://www.luminous-landscape) .com,
those with 30 Grand to spend can have a a new self-contained 7,216 x 5,412
pixels in a PhaseOne P45 back by then end of this year.

We are basically talking about 5x7 LF quality in an ISO 50 device. So for
those of you who, as I have (theoretically) regarded the 645 format as THE end
of the line for digital equivalency of large format performance, will now be
able to claim that time and dollars has proven you correct.

Not at all surprising... I've used the P25 in the studio and that was very
very nice. A P45 would be fun in the field.
