9600 vs 9800 with QTR for mono

Does anyone have any knowledge of what the differences are going to be between the 9800 and the 9600 tonality for black and white imaging with all things equal using UC and the QTR rip? I realize the 9800 isn't out yet but the 4800 and 2400 machines are. I'm trying to decide if I need to spend more money this fall. I assume the extra light black would help out. Thanks, John
