Innova Fiba Print

2005-07-28 by Stephen M Martin

Has anyone else noticed a problem with the IP bw profile for black and white on Fiba Print? Ran one today and it looked like someone poured bleach on it. Ran the same photo on QTR and it looks great.

Has anyone else with a 2200 experienced a problem getting the Innova to feed? Takes me about 4 tries to get it into the right spot. Ruined about half the package.

I'm trying out Fiba and am on my second box. I've had occasional feed
problems, more than with EEM. But in no case has a sheet been ruined.
Usually, if it won't go in, it just sits there. I'll then apply a
little pressure and it takes the next time, and usually lines up
perfectly in both dimensions.

It's too thick/heavy for the standard tray. I load Fiba Print through the
manual feed in the back, just as I do all my cotton rag papers.

Terry.

Which side is the one to print on, the concave or convex one?

The convex. Which is the opposite of how it looked to be, hence my first 3 prints on the
wrong side. I tried the wet-finger test but it was inconclusive.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
