IJC/OPM BETA K3 Profiles & K7 Inks

IJC/OPM BETA K3 Profiles & K7 Inks

2005-08-19 by mxgo95747

Has any body tried:

IJC/OPM™ Profiles for UltraChrome K3™ Inks

Three different types of beta IJC/OPM™ Profiles are included:

Tri-Tone: No color inks are used for these profiles. Prints with
these profiles have a very
slight warm tone which is characteristic of a `carbon' inkjet
print. We recorded a 1.80
DMAX on Epson Enhanced Matte paper with one of these profiles.

Inks used are:

Light-Light Black
Light Black
Black

< my comment, If the black position used Eboni, would it give you a BO look?>

The other two profiles use the cyan & magenta cartridges to make
neutral profiles.

Also, there is not much being said on the K7 inks. I have the
samples from Cone Editions,
the blacks look weak, but the lighter colors (the two tanks shown on
the image) look very
smooth.

Martin,

Which printer? 2400 or 4800?

Thanks!
