Is there any success in regular swapping of UT-7 and color cartridges in a 2200? Are there any tricks to "capping" the ones not being used? I am considering putting them in a sealed plastic container with a Credo cigar humidifier as well. Best regards, John Moody

Even less expensive is florist's styrofoam, holds water for weeks. Mark

Mark, Good point, thanks. That and propylene-glycol/ water mix, is all that a Credo is. Best regards, John Moody

John, I rinse the outlet of the old cart off with a syringe (that is always full of water and just left by the sink). I then put tape over the outlet. In general, when I swap a used cart back in I get a perfect nozzle check right off. What I worry about most is ink drying in the outlet and then getting into the printer head. That's why I rinse off the outlet before taping -- double protection, I hope. Paul www.PaulRoark.com

Rinsing with the syringe was extremely easy, thanks. What orientation do you store them in? Best regards, John Moody
