I don't see how PP could be used for profiling B&W as it's designed for 
color.  What would you use as a target?  Not the one that comes with the 
software.  Are people using PP for this?  It's been a while since I looked 
at PP.

You're right, of course Tom;  when I said black and white output I 
meant printing greyscale with a CMYK inkset, there'd be no point with 
a black/grey inkset.  

I'll rephrase the question:
Anyone used PP to get acceptable greyscale/duo-tri-quadtoned output 
using non OEM CMYK inks?
