OT question about portable storage (but I'll make a try at linking it to ,B&W)

RE: [Digital BW] OT question about portable storage

If you care about the images, I would use two; being mechanical and shock
sensitive they are less reliable than a flash card.
I use an Xs-drive and a Nixvue DA-lite, both have universal 100 – 240 volt
chargers, but you need the plug adapters (not converters) for where you are
going. I’ve used them since ’03. I have not looked, but a fast portable
DVD burner would be nice if it exists. I heard the iPod adapters are dead
slow; not sure if that has improved.

Best regards,

Hey!

Anyone care to share their thoughts on portable hard drives/storage
devices (for dumping memory cards into) that will work internationally
(i.e., I can charge it anywhere).

In my defence, these digital images will often end up as B&W inkjet
photos ;-)

Sooner,
Dean
