Photoshop is sepia unless working space is monitorRGB

Further to my last post I find that photoshop will display colours properly if the working space is set to Monitor RGB (Samsung Natural colour etc). I want to use Photoshop in US Prepress defaults i.e. Adobe 98 for colour and dot gain 20% for greyscale images without the dreadful sepia cast I am seeing. Please help. Pete.
