Dry Creek Photo

2005-11-08 by bellis33624

Has anyone done any business with, or even heard of, an outfit called
Dry Creek Photo in Hillsboro, Oregon? Are they a legitimate business?
I sent targets for a profile and a check for $50 more than two weeks
ago. The check hasn't cleared, I've received no profiles (obviously),
and when I call I get a message saying something like "this subscriber
can't receive messages" with a suggestion that I page instead. When I
page I get no response. I guess I can pay the bank $35 to stop payment
on the check but I really wanted the profile, not a bank charge.

I have used DCP in the past and they were always helpful and
reputable. They built some profiles for me before I got into rolling
my own. Ethan Hansen, who runs the place, is a really knowledgeable
and good guy. All my experiences were positive.

I'd send an email to their email address and see if you get a
response. It's been a few years since I dealt with them. Maybe he's
on vacation, out of town, etc??

Good luck,

Lou

Totally above board operation. They are small and often busy, or possibly
at a show, etc. Many people have the same issue because the turn-around is
not always real fast. I think you will be happy with the profiles, but I
understand your anxiety, you are not alone.

Best regards,

I had a profile made about a year ago , and then a follow up profile
a few months later.

Drop them an e-mail @ profiles@...

They should reply. Address it to Ethan Hansen.

Scott

Hi:

I used Dry Creek Photo for profiles several years ago with no
problems other than they were slow. I think it is a one man business
- maybe he is out on a long photo shoot or vacation. Wait a few more
weeks. Have you tried sending E-mail?

Good luck
