Digital BW, The Print

Hello:

Sorry if I missed this, but I am a bit confused by MIS's web site and would 
like to know what the cost and success has been when using their empty system 
for the 1270/1280 and any 3rd party ink.

Would people generally recommend just buying it filled if using MIS VM, even 
for those on a Mac where reprogamming the chip seems somewhat problematic?
