Which printer is best for piezo

Which printer is best for piezo

2001-12-30 by Joshua Weisberg

I want to get a dedicated printer for piezo, and have been reading
several forums on the subject. It seems like the Epson 1160 is very
popular. What about other B size printers such as the 1520 or 1200?

Any advice is appreciated.

$850 for the kit...seems a bit steep coupled with the printer cost.
Are the 6 color printers really going to do a better job outputting
4 gray inks than a 4 color printer?

Sorry for having been so short.
If you really put your nose into the print you will be able to realize
a difference between the 1160 and the 1280/90.
In the 4 col printer images you may discriminate a certain digital
pattern/structure which is less visible in the 6 col printers
images - though both are virtually "dotless".
And both are capable to provide you with FINE ART PRINTS
(depending on your input, of course).
I use both printers and I´m happy with both of them.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
