Bruce..
You "MAY" be due for a new one..
However what I have done that seems to work quite well is to remove the
plunger, spray some silicone spray lubricant on a paper towel, and wipe the
rubber seal with the paper towel ( a little goes a LONG way)..Re-insert the
plunger and slide it in an out and you should notice a great improvement..

Subject: [Digital BW] syringe maint.

Years ago, I bought a 60ml syringe from somewhere - MediaStreet maybe?
It's purpose is to load ink carts. When I started using PiezoTones with
my 7600, you could only buy the inks in 4oz bottles so I had to fill my
own carts.

The more I use it, the harder it gets. It's like the rubber seals on the
plunger need to be lubricated. Is there any lubricant I can use that
will help the plunger slide easier, maintain the seal, and not
contaminate the ink?

Secondary syringe question - anyone know where I can find a smaller
syringe - say 5ml? I want it to measures some darkroom chemistry when I
mix stuff for one-shot use.
