I have just purchased an Epson 4800 printer to be used in printing graphite art prints. Does anyone have any specifications on the number of copies you can print from a cartridge. I will be printing mostly in Matte Black on 10x14 sheets. A rough estimate of the number of copies would greatly assist me on what the cost per sheet will be. Your assistance would be appreciated! The printer will use 1/4 to 1/3 when you install the first set of cartidges, so you might want to order a second set, or at least a second set of matte black, light black and lightest black. The 220ml carts might save you a little money if you will be using the printer a lot.

Thank you so much! That was exactly what I needed! I typed in calculator and I found it immediately. They have a great Excel spreadsheet that assists in calculating the printer's usage and cost. I have purchased another set of ink cartridges since there is a warning on the printer indicating the cartridges provided contain only enough ink to cycle up the printer. Thanks again! I would give a rough estimate of 40 cents per print for ink, that's using the 220 ml carts at $85 each. Scott --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Diane Wright" <seemagic59@y...> wrote:
