Problem with MIS UT-R2 B&W print cart(s)

Problem with MIS UT-R2 B&W print cart(s)

2005-12-23 by jim0266

Just got my R200 to replace my 1280 for BO printing. I wanted to try
out some multi-ink printing so I got the MIS UT-R2 B&W inks. When I
install them into the printer I can't get the ink warning light to go
out. When I installed the the Epson Inks the printer worked.

I installed my Eboni cart and it worked for BO printing. Out of the
box my prints look as good as my 1280 prints.

Next I'll start swapping out one cart at a time to see which one is
bad. Has anyone had any bad carts like this? I even reset the carts
with my chip resetter and that did no good.

Thanks for any thoughts or reports.

Jim

There was a problem with incorrect chips in one batch I received. (The Y
chip was an LC.)
