Colorvision vs. Gretag

Colorvision vs. Gretag

2006-01-09 by Tim Atherton

What's the thoughts on Colorvision Spyder II vs the Gretag i1 Display 2?

I've always used the Spyder, but I've got to purchase a monitor
calibration set-up for a client and I thought I'd look at both

thanks

Coloreyes software with the Monaco DTP94 hardware is quickly becoming
the favored solution with many people, I think this may be the way
I'm going to go too. Monaco Optix is good (what I currently use), as
is the Gretag i1 Display2. Colorvision would be my absolute last
option, among the reasons is that other products work better. If you
could get an old Gretag i1 Display1, that would be a good choice too
(just don't over pay for it).
