SilverRag Piezotone test

SilverRag Piezotone test

2006-01-10 by Tyler Boley

I knew it wasn't going to work but of course I had to try it.
Quick test with the Selenium set, a good 1.79 dmax, but bad gloss
differential puts it out of the running except possibly for you spray
guys.
Also presents the Selnium inkset reddish browner than usual. The inks
don't take evenly to slight buffs in the paper surface, otherwise it
would have had much promise assuming a spray would help the
differential dealy bob.
I thought this paper would be a bit glossier, it loks like matte card
stock.
Just thought people might be interested, I had to see what would
happen. I'll put far more effort into UCK3 PK testing, which, of
course, is what is supposed to be used with it...

Well, can't complain, it was a long shot. I'm sure it will do better
with different ink.
One more note, if a spray can oversome this, it's not the Lascaux
fixative. I just took another year off my life expectancy by testing
it. Didn't help, maybe another would.

I would have tried it too... Because sometimes you get little surprises
and things work.

I read about a lot of people using Glamore2 thinned with water and a
High Volume, Low Pressure (HVLP) spray rig. It should be less toxic
(notice should). I don't use it, so just what I have read.
