QTR partitioning with 2 same inks

QTR partitioning with 2 same inks

2006-01-19 by Olivier

I'd like to make sure the wat you partition when 2 same inks in the
printer.

Say M and LC are loaded with the same ink. Once you have set M relative
to K, M Limit should read 50 and then LC "copy curve from" M Limit 100.

For instance :

M Gray ink Density 32 Limit 50
LC Copy Curve from Density M Limit 100

Am I correct in this ?

Thanks.

Sorry I don't have the answer for you but I'm curious why you would want two
positions with the same ink?

Thanks,

Tom

I simply have a Piezo kit installed on a 1280 (6 heads so 4 gray inks
in 6 bottles, consequently 2 pairs are the same)and I'd like all
bottles to be depleted simultaneously for 1/preventing head clogging
2/not ending up with 2 bottles uselessly full.

I'm not sure if I've understood you exactly but I think, if you had only
one ink and you would set the limit it to 50 then if you had two you
would set them both to 25 - half the limit each.
