Looking at ConverToBW Pro, it does appear that its output can be  
duplicated in PS... but not with any reasonable degree of efficiency,  
at least for me.

$99 seems rather steep, though, for a plugin that doesn't make coffee  
and shovel the walk too. There are a number of freebies and  
alternatives included in other products (like raw converters), but I  
don't know of any that includes the "prefilter" and range of controls  
along with instant preview.

*Is* there any do it yourself way of providing the instant previewing  
function in PS?
