Digital BW, The Print

I am looking to get the piezo inks for an epson 980, My problem is 
that I am dealing with trek hall in canada (toronto). I am looking 
for the continuous system, they are telling me that I need to 
purchase the starter kit $500+ then the continuous kit 600+. Yet when 
I read on the piezo web site it says you can go directly to the 
continuous kit????
anyone else deal with trek hall?
any suggestions??
