The times quoted by Epson don't take into account air exposure. I had a
print from a 1270 (same inks(?)) turn orange in a matter of weeks. It was
printed on the Epson Premium Glossy paper with Epson OEM inks and was
sitting on my shelf where it spent most of the time in very dim shade.

So far I haven't had problems with prints I've framed immediately, but I
don't trust them. That's why I went carbon-pig. They didn't think to check
for air exposure in the testing, just light. Luckily they didn't give me a
hassle about buying back my printer, so my personal experience was good,
but I think others had to pave the way for that.
