Simple Question on Epson C86

Newbie here . . . the Epson site says the C86 has a max paper size of 8.5 X 44 but all the references I see say it's max print is 8.5x11. Soooo, would some of you users of C86s tell me, can it print 44 inches long? Thx Dan
