Epson dyes

Just as a point of clarification: the problem with the Epson dyes was not with light, but air exposure (probably ozone and pollutants). Some people had no problems at all, other would see shifting in as soon as 24 hours. The problem was that the cyan would fade, causing a color shift towards orange. Prints done in pure black would do this also, leading one to believe that the fading component was in that color also. The reason I choose not to trust the prints for sale was that I had no control over where they were going or how they would be displayed. I agree that fading a decade or so down the road is troublesome, but not a show stopper. Having to reprint after only a month is. Important to note is that the Epson longevity claims now state "UNDER GLASS". Mark C.
