Hi Clayton: Thanks for your well - considered response, AND for your deep concern about the well - being of this excellent list! I respect your views. I guess it is a judgement call about what constitutes an overly prolonged discussion of this sort. I, too, would hate to put off newcomers to this outstanding list. But I do cherish those historical perspectives also! Ah, ambivalent feelings, so very human. Best regards to you................. As much as I love the subject, this is not a general photography forum. I accept that. I hope others will too. If we all will keep that in mind we will instinctively know when it's time to cease comments and let these threads die off, which is what happens most of the time.
