Digital BW, The Print

I have an Epson 1270 that has some clogged heads and I'm trying to
decide what to do with it.

I currently have a 220 and a 2400 that are my primary printers.  The
220 is setup with the MIS UT2 Neutral inkset for B&W printing. The
R2400 is using the stock K3 inks.  I use the 2400 for printing color
and B&W on matte papers. 

I would appreciate hearing your thoughts/suggestions on what to do
with the 1270.  I was thinking of setting it up for printing using one
of the various (color) archival ink systems; however, I'm not sure it
is even worth buying cleaning carts to get the heads opened back up.

Also, I notice that there are quite a few profiles out there for the
1280, will these profiles work for a 1270?
