QTR Profiling with Eye-One - How to print the Test Charts ?

QTR Profiling with Eye-One - How to print the Test Charts ?

2006-04-15 by roschko_leolevin

Hi,

I am a newbie wit B&W Printing and QTR. I know how to use
Colormanagement and Softproof and so on ...
But in B&W are things different.
Now I try to make a icc Profile with Profilemaker 5 and my Eye-one.
There is the Manual in the Eye-one Folder after installing QTR, but
there is nothing about printing the Test Charts.
Where do you print this Charts ?
Photoshop ?
which Settings do you use ?

thanks for your answer

Florian

Hello QTR community,
I am also in a similar boat to Florian. While i am grateful for the
documentation that exists in the user manual and the other manual
for profiling with eye-one, I am yearning for a user manual about
curve creation, linearization and production of .icc profiles for
Photoshop softproofing that does not assume EXPERT knowledge of QTR
or 'color management'. While Eye-One photo is great for producing
color profiles with the aid of a wizard, the grey profile generation
is a manual process that needs explanation and workflow to be
accomplished by intermediates like me and Florian....

I wonder what it would take to entice Roy or Paul Roark to pull such
a guide toghether??? I for one would be prepared to pay for it in
addition to the RIP.

Thanks
Vartkes

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
