The only problem I've found so far with this paper is that the cut sheets have a tendency to shed along the edge. I try to dislodge any shreds before putting the paper in the printer. On occasion, a piece will dislodge during printing and a shred will get between the paper and the head, causing a spot. Ed

Yep, I second this. I just printed some a few hours ago, and I too try to remember to "pre- flake" the edges before printing. I will say, though, that I have only once (today) gotten a spot from the "edge shreds", for lack of a better term. BTW, none of Innova's other papers that I've used have this shredding along the edges, so I'm hoping this was just an issue in this first batch of sheets of F-type and will be quickly resolved. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "edrudolpho" <erudolph@...> wrote:

That (and bad curl) was a major problem I had with the PremierArt Luster Rag sheets that I tried awhile ago, but I've not yet seen this with the Innova F-Type. Innova F-Type Sheets (17x22 and 11x17) I'm currently using are flat and have nice clean edges. I guess sporadic QC problems like this are not unusual for the paper industry.

The sheets I'm using are the 8.5x11 and the shred seems not to be on all edges. So perhaps the larger sheets are made by making two cuts from a roll while the small sheets have a cut down the middle of the roll, a cut which is not made as well. I just ordered a box of 11x17 and will compare. Ed --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Carl Schofield <scho@...> wrote:

I have both 8x11 and 11x17 sheets and have seen this relatively frequently on sheets of both sizes. It's the top and bottom edges of pretty much every sheet. --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "edrudolpho" <erudolph@...> wrote: > > The sheets I'm using are the 8.5x11 and the shred seems not to be on all edges.
