Digital BW, The Print

My 1800 is starting to drive me crazy. I did a head cleaning/nozzle
check print and everything looked o.k. but the prints I'm doing lately
have treadmarks from the rollers. Look kind of like banding but I
think banding is a more pronounced phenomenom and is related to
clogged or dirty heads right? This seems to be roller marks over wet
ink that is leaving subtle tracks.

Will that spray I used to use on my 2200 help this?

Additionally my prints have gone from way too dark to 10% to 15%
lighter than they should be. I had set some of my own preferences
early on that worked initally but now they turn out dark. So when I
switch to factory presets and turn off the ICM the are coming out a
couple shades too light.

Very frustrating. Any clues or fixes?
