Anybody able to comment on the quality improvement of the "smooth diffusion" dithering 
pattern in v.12 as compared to stochastic dithering in v.11?  Specifically, does the new 
dithering pattern help with smoothing out gradient transitions?

Maybe, if I happen to have experience with a setup similar to your
experience.

In a quad setup, or a K6-7 setup? Or maybe you mean a color ink setup?
What specifically are you using, how is v11 set for it, and what sort
of transition problems do you encounter?
