Digital BW, The Print

I realize that this is a B&W printing forum, and I do print the 
majority of my images with a MIS VM inkset and Paul's curves, 
but I was wondering if I could get some feedback about either of 
these color inksets.  It is time for me to do away with cartriges 
and add a CIS to my 1270 for color printing. 
           How does the color of these inksets compare to the OEM 
inks?  Do either of these inksets have a problem with clogging?  
Any input, advice, suggestions and experiences you could share 
with me would be greatly appreciated.
