Epson R220 prints larger than A4/Letter size

Epson R220 prints larger than A4/Letter size

2006-08-16 by simonrcameron

I have read that most small Epson printers can print larger than
A4/letter size(sorry I am British).

I have an Epson R220 and have tried creating a custom page size and a
larger Photoshop document but all I get is the image rotated by 90
degrees in the centre of the page. Whatever i try to do by changing
the orientation I still get the the same result.

Can anyone please help?

Simon

Are you sure that you have set up the print properly in print preview using
the landscape/portrait buttons? I have no problem doing panorama's from my
R220. You are of course limited to paper that is approximately 210mm wide
by the width of the printer carriage.

David

Thanks for your speedy reply, I have restarted my mac and checked my
settings and now I can print panoramas.

What sort of length prints are you achieving on the R220, presumably
on roll media?
Any problems associated with it.

Once again many thanks
