Firmwere for 9800

2006-08-23 by joaskild

I have a epson 9800 and notised there is a newer firmwere than I have. (i have SWO1761.800)
the new one is SWO1965. I have calibrated the printer well and are woundring if its and idea
to opdate if it will change it all. Do anybady know what improments there are between them
and if opdated would I need to recalibrete?

Thank you very much,

Don't go by the numbers only, check the dates of the firmware
releases. Epson for some reason does not have a logical numbering
system. You might already have the latest. My thoughts are unless it
does something that saves you time or money and your current setup is
working, don't update, wait until one comes out with a major fix.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
