Anyone out there had any experience with a setup like this? I just happen to have access to an R1800 right now from a friend who moved to japan for a year and I like black and white printing. But as we all know this printer is kinda BLAH when it comes to black and white so I was wondering about this option. Thanks for any help. Brian Skipper

Brian I'm using the R800 (which I believe uses the same printhead and cartridges) with Neutral K7 inks and I've been very impressed with the quality it delivers. The only downsides are that you are limited to matt paper and the tone of the inkset is fixed unless you change cartridges. David
