Thanks.
Sorry to be so anal, but do you need to pull the plug as well, or could that
alone trigger yet another cleaning and be a bad idea in itself?
I'm guessing there is an ever_5V supply on all the time in these things that
"could" know if you pulled the cartridge.

John, It sounds like two things need to be suggested here; 1) look into a
cheaper source of ink ( I use my NAPP discount with PC Mall) and 2) relax, I
don't find my 4800 requiring a power cleaning very often at all.
