r220 voodoo

r220 voodoo

Hi all,

I've been learning a lot from this K3, K7 discussion. Seriously.

Not so seriously, I was just sitting here with my 2400 out of ink. You know how it is. The
ink and paper delivery isn't going to come until Monday. I fired up the old 220 again. Its
yellow nozzle seems to be hopelessly clogged, but I had a half-full eboni sitting around.

I'm not sure how I did it, but somehow I got the thing to swallow a few half sheets of
Bergger pn 33 for a bo 4x6. This is a really interesting warm-tone combo, as I haven't
really warmed up to HPR, like others. The bergger looks positively dingy to something like
enhanced matte or kayenta and flakes like crazy, but it's interesting.

I'm trying to replicate how I got this thick of a paper to go through the 220. I'm not sure if
it was my special bending technique, the gentle pressure I applied to the paper as it went
through, or the voodoo dance I engaged in while completely naked. I'll report back if
there's any interest.

Have a great weekend!
Mike

Surely must have been the voodoo dance. In case others want to learn
it, how about making a self portrait and posting it here...

Regards,
Clayton
