That was pretty much what I found, which was one reason I was willing to move 
to the color mode for B&W work. I'm not convinced the blend is identical, but 
the visual results at viewing distance and metamerism (or lack thereof) are 
certainly equivalent.

I don't see why there would be any real difference, isn't the 'abw 
mode' essentially a fancier more precise set of color controls? The 
driver in both cases is the same, isn't it?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
