Epson C86 versus Epson 220 and MIS

Epson C86 versus Epson 220 and MIS

2007-01-13 by scottkathe1

Hi again,

I was looking for information regarding an 11x14 printer last week but
that is on hold while I learn to use my new Epson 4990 scanner:) The
kids need a printer and I'm wondering if I should give them my C86
that I have been using with the MIS-EZN inks. I've been thinking about
upgrading to a 220 since it is a newer printer and is supposed to be
better at BO printing. Any thoughts?

The 220 seems to be better on matte paper, and the C86 seems to have a
better glossy paper dmax.
