another head cleaning question
2007-01-23 by Ken Carney
When I run a nozzle check on my 2200, it seems the yellow ink is more and more difficult to see (I do have 20/20), whereas the other colors are clear. The nozzle check is OK, i.e., no broken lines, but I now have to use a loupe to verify that with yellow. Cleaning cycles don't help. Also, I've noticed that the print colors are "off" lately, running a bit to red. B&W prints are fine. I'm using ImagePrint 6 and a monitor calibrated with Spyder Pro. Is it possible for a print head to just print "weaker" and still show a good nozzle check?? I can print a square of yellow and it looks OK. Is it time to get back to the eye doc? Any thoughts appreciated! Ken
