Digital BW, The Print

Hi Everyone;

I recently received a few sample sheets of the new Innova Semi-Matte  
parer. For my taste this is the most pleasing paper I have tried...  
and I have tried just about every paper out there over the past few  
years. It has a very non obtrusive surface and takes the ink  
beautifully. For those looking for a paper that resembles an air  
dried fiber print from the wet darkroom the Innova Semi - Matte is  
hard to beat. My only request is that they also come out with a warm  
tone non OB version for my portrait work.

I agree.  It also seems to have the best color tone with UC3 inks.  It 
has some of the depth of a matte paper with the dynamic range of the 
glossies.  I am printing all my new stuff for a show in 2 weeks on it.

I figured it out. The innova paper has a slight curl to it that  
causes the smudges. If I makes sure it is very flat, it is fine.  
Still feeds very easily too...DM
