Those sponges hold lots of ink. I recently change my Generation's 3 yellow to Generation's 4 yellow. Printed about 60 8x10 purge images of yellow until the color did not change - checked with scans of pages and eyedropper in Photoshop. Don't was your time. Best, John V.
